About Ruby
The foundation of my life was built on science. I grew up learning about the cosmos, went on to college to learn about biological sciences, and am now continuing my jounrey to learn more about who we are in the scienctific mind. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry. I am now a PhD student studying immunology, microbiology, and molecular genetics. While in college, I took up plenty of tutoring positions, mostly in chemistry, but I have learned to expand my teaching potentioal expanding from math, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, immunolgy, and microbiology.

When I was in college, I took many teaching postions that would help me embark on this tutoring journey. I was a tutor for organic chemistry for 2 years and then became a laboratory instructor for 2 years.
I have an educational background in biochemistry and biology. I have previously worked with a program that inspired me to continue tutoring. In this program, I was encouraged to engage students pacing their learning on their own.

I would ask them to not only look for someone who has expertise, but also to find someone with passion in the area. Anyone can learn, but not many can teach.
