About Phone pyae
Hi, my name is Phone Yan, and I’m an undergraduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering. Since I was young, I’ve had a passion for math—it’s always been my favorite subject and the foundation of my academic journey. Growing up in a third-world country, I’ve witnessed the transformative power of technology and innovation, and it’s my goal to use my skills to contribute to meaningful advancements that can make a difference in people’s lives.
For over two years, I’ve been a peer tutor at two colleges, where I’ve hosted review and study sessions to help students improve their academic performance. I’ve also led monthly workshops called “Mental Math,” where I challenge students to perform up to four-digit calculations without any aids, encouraging creativity and confidence with math. These experiences have honed my ability to explain complex ideas in simple ways, making learning engaging and accessible.
When working with me, you’ll find that I’m approachable, patient, and deeply committed to helping others succeed. I take pride in supporting students through their challenges and celebrating their progress. Together, we’ll work toward achieving your academic goals and building a strong foundation for your future!
