About Matthew
Hey everyone! My name is Matthew Chiang, a current highschool student at Piedmont Hills. I've mastered all the math courses available at my school, up to AP Calculus BC, with roughly a 98% average. However, my strength lies in my passion for positively influencing others, especially through teaching. Volunteering as a tutor in the past has revealed my deep enjoyment in helping others succeed. I've volunteered at my local library for seven months and have helped over 30 middle school students excel in their math classes. Seeing students light up when they understand a previously confusing concept is what motivates me to continue seeking opportunities to help. I hope I'll be able to provide services to students who are seeking to grow. Here are some of my qualities and accomplishments:

It started at a young age in my classes. Other students would look confused and ask how I solved the problem. That manifested itself in middle school, when I took on tutoring roles on campus.
I've volunteered for 7 months, helping over 30 elementary and middle school students at the library.

I got a 770 on the math SAT section when Matthew helped me prep. He was so helpful and funny!
I began being tutored by Matthew a couple of months ago. I began with a 670 on the SAT portion in math. However, with consistent help, I managed to increase my 670 to a 710.
