About Shruthi

Hi! My name is Shruthi Seluka and I am a junior from the Bay Area! I am a current tutor with One-in-Math, teaching numerous elementary students, what it means to love the subject from a young age and tutor my school friends in algebra based and calculus based subjects. I remember a time when I was younger, struggling to understand the basics just because it wasn't explained in a way that was easily graspable. Now, as someone who has developed effective study strategies and polished study guides, I would like to spread my knowledge to more people that may be on the same boat that I was. As a Gen-z high schooler, I understand how confusing numerous math concepts can seem. I will cover the basics of algebra, or based on what the student wants to work on, with relatable and easily understandable methods that target the main essence of each concept without over complicating it. The lessons are dedicated for middle schoolers up to high schoolers taking advanced algebra/precalc. I am a relatively flexible teacher and am always ready to respond with any extra questions you may have outside of class!
