About Mercedes

Hi! I'm from Spain, I've been living there for more than 30 years, always I have lived with foreigners I teach Spanish, and they have learned very fast. I'm an architect and I am working as such but I want to continue teaching my native language!!

You can visit my profile on LinkedIn:

How people are learning very fast with my corrections and explications. We can read a book, learn a song, just talk about something interested for the student, and enrich the vocabulary.

I would have a little conversation to calibrate the level of the student, I will ask him/her in what field is interested, Grammar, speaking, or reading...

I studied at the university in Barcelona, Architecture, at the same time I was teaching classes for Spanish, Maths, and Technical drawings. So I have more than 3 years of experience.

About the lesson

Conversation, corrections, and repetition.

I worked with kids over 10 years old, with teenagers for the high school teaching maths and adult people teaching Spanish, for me, Spanish is the easiest one, because is my natural language.

One piece of advice is I give you is to look for a dynamic and patient person, with experience in all fields and good communication skills both inside.

In Spain, as in Europe, we have good tennis players, and recently wand recently it has been the Roland Garros, which has won the famous Rafa Nadal with his 13th prize!!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
- What do you want your learning for?

- How long do you want to reach your next level? this is important to mark your goals.

- What are your difficulties to learn the language?

- How would you like your teacher to be?
