About Sheila Marie
I am a licensed professional teacher with over fourteen years of experience in teaching math. Aside from being a classroom math teacher, I also do online math tutoring to primary and high school students.

I enjoy teaching problem-solving techniques to my students using real- world, application-based examples to maximize learning opportunities. I assess my students' strengths and weaknesses regularly to provide appropriate methods of addressing their learning needs especially on areas where they are most struggling.

I'll begin with a 20 to 30-minute conversation as a complimentary session to each of my prospective students in order to ensure a good start. This initial session will help us get clear on what it is exactly that my student would like me to help in and how we're going to get there. Then if we decide to move forward, I will be sending some preliminary math activities to assess my student's strengths and weaknesses.
