About Bianca
At Bianca’s Private Tutoring, I believe every child can grow into a confident, capable learner with the right instruction, encouragement, and support.
I am the owner of Bianca’s Private Tutoring and a Texas-certified teacher with 35 years of experience in education. Throughout my career, I have taught students in grades 1 through 12and earned multiple degrees and endorsements that support my work with diverse learners. I have served as a Reading Specialist for most of my career and currently specialize in Dyslexia Support.
My approach is patient, positive, and individualized. I take the time to understand each student’s unique needs, identify areas of difficulty, and provide instruction that helps them make meaningful progress. Whether a student is struggling with reading, dyslexia, comprehension, fluency, phonics, writing, or confidence, I create a supportive environment where they feel encouraged to keep trying.
Building confidence is at the heart of my work. I want every student to recognize their strengths and believe, “I can do this.” With consistent support and the right strategies, students can make progress both academically and personally.
Working with students is my passion, and it is truly amazing to watch them grow. My goal is not only to help children become stronger readers and learners, but also to help them discover their own potential.
I started straight out of college.

I always schedule an interview to make sure that I am the right “fit” for the child. During the interview, I speak mostly with the child to find out what they are struggling in. After I interview the child, then we all decide together if I am what your child needs.

One of my students came to me reading at a kindergarten level, and her map scores put her at the beginning of third grade. She worked so hard, and I am so proud of her!

Ms. Woodruff is an absolutely amazing teacher! Her methods and patience with students really shows how much she cares about her students. I love that she has a unique way to reach all students. She has been such a blessing.
-Jessica WAfter a difficult couple of months in middle school Bianca's services were especially needed. In just a couple of visits not only did our son's grades improve but so did his confidence. Knowing that she specializes and is well versed in the needs of a child with dyslexia was reassuring, and seeing the difference in our son when it comes to school assignments has been exciting to witness.
