About Ian
I am an Undergraduate Student majoring in Computer Engineering and Mathematics at Union College and I am passionate about helping students realize their academic potential. For the past three years, I have worked to help students achieve their academic goals and discover how rewarding knowledge and education can be. I was a co-founder of The Stuyvesant Study Society, a tutoring service that now serves community organizations and schools throughout Manhattan with volunteer tutoring services. I also have worked with COCOA House in Schenectady, New York, to provide after-school child-care and tutoring services to local elementary school students. I am a passionate self-learner and hope I can instill a lifelong love for learning in all of my students.
What I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to have an impact on a student's educational career. It was my experiences with great teachers and tutors that has lead me to where I am today and I hope I can have the same impact on someone else.
