About Juliana
I am a Computer Science major with an associates degree and pursing a bachelors at the moment. I graduated highschool May 2019, 24 out of 458 with honors. I also graduated with my associates Cum Laude August 2020. I haven't done formal tutoring through a program, but I am always ready to help whether it be friends, classmates, family, through social media, or even a random person next to me.
I enjoy helping people understand subjects. I know the subject can be mystifying to some, however, I enjoy adapting the information to the student's learning style. Growing up my mother had to do the same for me as a teacher herself. I hope I can help others achieve an understanding as well.

Once I know the subject the student is having problems with, I then try to understand their strength and weaknesses. From there I can start building an approach that relates the subject in a learning style they can understand.
I am most fond of the time I had been working on homework in the library and the person next to me was really struggling with their math homework. I asked if they needed help and they said yes. After helping them m, we parted ways with no form of contact shared between us. For this reason, it really warmed my heart when they later saw me and made sure to tell me they made a good grade on their homework because of me.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Do you feel comfortable discussing your needs with the teacher you choose? This important because you need to be fully be honest about where you're struggling and where you're succeeding. If the teacher explains something and you don't understand, you need to feel comfortable telling them that.
