About Janna
I taught 5th grade for 7 years.
Math is my favorite subject - it was NOT my favorite in elementary school. I understand why kids don't like math and I make it fun!

I start with each student by looking over current homework and class notes.
I ask parents to contact the student's teacher & let them know that I will be contacting the teacher for any input or problems that they see.
We practice, practice, practice using different methods and materials. Rewards are given for attempts, correct answers and improvement.
Each student learns differently.
