About James

Given my strong math skills as a student and tutor, it's truly rewarding to help others improve and enjoy math as I once did. Making math easier and more enjoyable for my students rather than a tiring bore is how I have found so much success in helping others with math. As well as strong lessons on any math standardized test. Learning not only the math but also general testing practices.

Since I can remember I have always been helping others with their math. Flying through math lessons and homeworks to only turn around and be able to help those around me has always been something that brings me joy. Watching students thaat i've tutored succeed has been a truly rewarding experience.

I have perfect math scores on every standardized test I've taken (SSAT, SAT, ACT). As well as college level math knowledge. Also a former tutor at both my highschool and college.

About the lesson

The first meeting is very important to get a baseline of math knowledge and testing ability if needed. From there we will work on strengthing math knowledge through small easy to follow increments until we able to comfortably move through the materail. From there, we take on repitition while also adding new aspcets to our work. In regards to standarized testing we all add good study habits and practice test taking techniques to make standized test taking even easier.

I've worked with all math levels from Kindgergarden students all the way up to college freshman.
