About Ivan
My name is Ivan and I love teaching my peers in the subject of math, history, science, psychology, and astronomy. I have been tutoring my fellow students when I was in MCC for two years. I graduated Arizona State University with a degree in history and biochemistry. I am also currently working as a nurse because I love caring and nurturing those who are sick to be healthy again.

I enjoy teaching other people to understand a complex issue. When I see the person have their "light bulb" turned on in their head, it give me so much satisfaction because that person have understand something that once before they did not understand.

First, understand which part of the subject is difficult to retain. Once the issue have been recognized, then teaching the student to understand is the next steps. In math, it will be multiple practice questions to be answered. Because through repetition, the information will be able to be retained. In social studies, such as history and politic, learning about historical event and why certain things happenned will be the process.
