About Abigail

I am committed to assisting students in reaching their full potential with their writing skills and articulating themselves effortlessly. It is essential to me that students can feel confident in their writings and can master skills within vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. I have worked with students from the age of 8-15 to complete their homework and ensure they give the best quality of work. I am very patient with students and willing to work however long they need to ensure they become successful with their writing goals.

I have babysat children in the past that required assistance with their homework from the ages of 8-15. I have also taken AP and college courses within my high school experience that have helped me understand the English Language Arts better, like AP Language, English Language Arts within Bard College, and Poetry in America within Arizona State University.

I will communicate with the student (and parent if necessary) to understand what areas they want to work on or need assistance. I will also ask a few questions about how the student feels about the English Language Arts to understand their emotions on the subject because this has a huge impact on their work ethic. Lastly, I would review the student's previous work to see where their skills are at and what changes we can potentially make.
