About Madison

I'm a Pre-med student at Kean University with previous experience tutoring math, science, SAT and ACT at Sylvan Learning Center.

I enjoy helping younger students and reinforcing the information they learn in school as well as helping them find new ways to approach and solve problems. I also enjoy helping high school students prepare for college both academically as well as general questions and study techniques they can use throughout their entire education.

Went to a private high school, graduated with honors and over a 4.0 GPA. Currently a rising Senior at Kean University. Experienced tutor at Sylan Learning Center in the past.

When I begin working with a new student, I like to spend the first session getting a sense of where they are at in school and a general sense of their note taking and organizational skills. Depending of where I feel they are with these skills I like to work on not only the material they may be struggling with but also general study skills and organization to help them to continue to be successful after they are finished their tutoring sessions.

I have experience with grades 7-12.

Hearing back from a parent who let me know that their daughter was able to raise her SAT score enough points to be accepted into her dream college!
