About Alex

As a graduate in Cornell Applied Economics and Management Major, Alex Michailoff has excelled in high school level Algebra, Geometry and Statistics courses. Through using tons of practice problems and walking through differing methods, any student could improve their grade exponentially with this tutor. Alex has tutored multiple high school students in mathematics and has over 1,000 hours of general tutoring experience, and specializes in standardize tests (SAT and ACT). As a member of the National Math and National Honors Societies, he has a been a high honor roll student all four years of high school, as well as Dean’s list for 6 out of 7 eligible semesters at Cornell.

About the lesson

Begin by going over a broad variety of practice problems in the subject to find where they are, and then slowly work up to more challenging material by going over problems together.
