About Irena

I am a graduate from Old Dominion University! I majored in Biology and I am aspiring to go to Medical school. My favorite subjects include Biology, Anatomy, College Algebra, Organic Chemistry, and Psychology. However, I love learning new things and the challenge of figuring out problems.

This is my first time tutoring, but I have always loved working with others to help them learn and understand the material being studied. I also understand this is a challenging time for many students faced with online courses, and want to help ease some of the challenges they may be facing.

I love the challenge of learning new things, but even moreso when everyone around me also understands. I have had to hire tutors several times or attend tutoring sessions where I felt like they flew through the information and I still did not understand, and want to make sure the student has the moments where it all "clicks" and makes sense!

Considering this is my first time, I am willing to work with the student to accomodate they're learning style. However, since some of the information may be my first time seeing in in awhile, I would appreciate if they sent over their assignment or topic ahead of time so I can brush up and be as much of assistance as possible.
