About Hilda
I strive to to help my students understand the problem and how they can work with it to get to the answer! I can understand new methods of teaching in order to help create a positive mind space for learning!
I definitely enjoy seeing the expression of relief and happiness whenever a student understands how to do a problem!
I have always been fond of explaining how to solve problems to people, math is a good excuse to help others in that sense! I needed a side job and I realized that tutoring could be the best use of my knowledge.

I try ti understand if the student is a visual leaner or a more tradional step by step learner. By understanding what works best for the student I can teach them while creating a comfortable atmosphere for them to learn in.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about things like:
What will help you stay engaged?
What kind of speed are you comfortable with when learning?
Is there any specific topic that you know you need help with?

she was really dedicated to helping me better understand
She’s very considerate of what i struggle with and takes it step by step until i understand it.
She helped me fully understand the material I was having a hard time with. I wasn’t understanding the steps but she went through the whole thing slowly and made sure I was understanding.
It was fast fun and very effective to my learning

$20 per hour. I don't want to deprive anybody from the joy of learning based on money! This is also my first outreach to help others and if all goes well I think $20 would be a fair price for me and the student.
