About Nathaniel
As a recent high school graduate, college student, and tutor with three semesters of experience tutoring dozens of high school students, I’ve become proficient at explaining numerous difficult to understand concepts from various topics. Having recently taken many of the same courses my students are taking, I’m intimately familiar with much of the material that students have trouble with, and how it is typically taught. This gives me the ability to quickly recognize what specific idea a student needs help understanding, and effectively teach that concept based on their preferred learning method.
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to adapt to a student’s individual needs, promoting their educational success by breaking down otherwise frustrating problems so that they are easier to understand. I’m excited to help students confront new challenges posed to them, and to make it easier for them to maintain a growth-oriented mindset through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
