She was always supportive and kind, and would not only teach academic material but talk to us students about being kind to one another. Mrs. McKenzie was the best teacher I ever had in school. I was a student of hers for two non-consecutive years and they were both fantastic. She taught me well, and treated all her students with respect. She had a passion for teaching and and love for her students befitting of the perfect teacher. I wasn't always the best student behaviorally, but she taught me better and seriously helped me when I goofed up.
