About Maddison
I am a 2020 Iowa State University graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. With this degree I am qualified to teach grades Kindergarten - 6th grade in all subjects. I have endorsement areas in Reading, English Language Arts, and Mathematics. These endorsements allow me to teach in these subject areas in the 7th and 8th grade. My student teaching experiences took place in the Quad City area. I experienced both in classroom teaching as well as virtual. I have personal experience at the kindergarten and sixth grade level. I would LOVE to work with any students this summer who are willing to have fun all while learning!
I love engaging with students of all ages. I believe, being a teacher, is the best job in the world. Each day is a new day full of challenges and celebrations. There is nothing more rewarding than a student finding confidence in themselves!
I graduated from Iowa State University in the Spring of 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading, English Language Arts, and Mathematics. Prior to graduation, I had two student teaching placements in the Quad City area in grades kindergarten and sixth grade. I am currently employed as a fifth grade teacher in the Muscatine Community School District.
