About Yara
I offer over 20 years of Math teaching experience and online tutoring experience. The hour long session is a 1 to 1 and face-to-face session that is uniquely personalized for your child. Zoom is the means of my online tutoring sessions and it is free as well as easy to use. In our session we will work on the math concepts, practice the math concepts, and address any assignments/homework that need to be completed.
ACT prep is customized to your needs. In the ACT math prep sessions they are personalized to strengthen your mask skills and also provide strategies to help improve your score!
I have a 100% success rate with my students showing improvement in their math scores as well as in their confidence!
I have a passion and a love For Math! My goal is to help all my students gain not just understanding of the math concepts but math confidence. It's amazing to see the a-ha moments and lightbulbs turn on in my students.
My mom taught my whole life growing up and I fell in love with it. I went to university to study business finance however in my senior year I decided to switch majors to become a teacher. I wanted to help students and work in a job where I felt like I could make a huge difference!

When I first start working with a new student I like to find out a little bit about who they are; liked, dislikes, and there attitude towards math. Then I like to find out what math topic/concept they're working on. I will jump into some questioning which gives me a good idea of their math skills and understanding of the concept. I can figure out quickly we are weaknesses lie and how to strengthen them.

Perfect! Mrs. Butler is an outstanding teacher. My son was struggling with Math towards the beginning of the year. Mrs Butler got to know him and really worked on learning my son’s interests. Once she knew what motivated my son she was able to add math to everything he likes and my son had a clear understanding of each subject. My son finished his year with a score of 92 and we are extremely thankful for Mrs Butlers help.

$55 per hour and $45 for 45 minutes
Once I have established relationship with a client I am more than willing to jump online to tutor in 15 minutes segments for $15/15 minutes, 30 minutes = $30, 45 minutes =$45, or 1 hour =$55.
