About Sharon
I'm a high school graduate whose always done my best to help classmates when they're struggling to complete their tasks since I was in primary school. I like sharing the knowledge that my teachers have passed on to me to others and as you tell me your goals and reasons as to why you have chosen tutoring as a means to achieve your future goals, I will devise a plan and help you attain them.
Since I only graduates high school a few months ago, my experiences are limited to simply helping my classmates with their work, as well as teaching the younger underclassmen of my school. While I also got an offer to teach at my nearest Kumon Center, I was too preoccupied with my completing my IB diploma to do so.
Some achievements I would like to highlight are:
- Kumon Math Completer at 13
- Straight As in all my IGCSE subjects
- IB diploma holder with a score of 42/45
- High school valedictorian
- Participated in MUN and WSC
I believe that with my grades, along with my communicative skills, I will be able to make the students comfortable while working with me to reach their target.
I've always enjoyed helping my classmates improve and prepare for exams together in order to reach our own personal goals. I also find satisfaction in motivating my peers and encouraging them to aim higher.
I currently have an IB diploma as i only recently graduated high school. My tutoring experience is limited to teaching my classmates and underclassmen when they're struggling with work. However, I have picked up on tutoring methods from my own tutors back in middle school.

I like to start with a worksheet to gauge on their abilities in the topic they wish to improve on or learn. Then I'd ask the student's goals and expectations from these classes in order to set a clear schedule and time frame to realistically achieve their goal.
I've worked with classmates who are on the lazier side of the spectrum and those who are not ambitious. I find that once the student is given the right push and discover their interests, they'll do whatever it takes to achieve their goal, even if it means studying in a subject they dont particularly enjoy.
