About MaryAlison

Hello! I am excited about the opportunity to help you become more successful.

Individual tutoring is an excellent way to get one-on-one instructional time that is catered to your educational needs and goals. As your tutor, I can supplement your school's curriculum or work with you to create your own curriculum to help you reach your goals. I can provide practice materials for review or I can provide enrichment lessons. I can also provide homework help, study advice, and test-taking tips. We can work together to create the best tutoring experience for you.

I am a local elementary school teacher by day and am usually available for tutoring in the late afternoons and evenings during the week, as well as on the weekends. During the summer, I have more flexibility for tutoring.

I have experience teaching and tutoring in both the United States and Spain and I have worked with students of all ages, from preschoolers to adults. I have been a tutor, student teacher, teaching assistant, and teacher in various settings in both countries, and I have experience teaching a wide range of subjects. I am available to tutor in many subjects, particularly English and the Humanities; I am most frequently hired to tutor in Reading, Spanish, Elementary Math, and general Elementary subjects.
