About Finn

I am a friendly and approachable university student with a strong passion for Maths and Physics. I recently achieved an A* in Maths, A in Further Maths, A in Physics and B in Design & Technology, and I will be studying Aerospace Engineering at university. I have previous experience tutoring students and enjoy helping others understand challenging topics and build their confidence. Outside of studying, I enjoy engineering, aviation, sport and spending time with friends. I am patient, reliable and always aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

About the lesson

I am an experienced tutor offering personalised lessons for any level of Maths up to and including A-Level, with lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and ability. I focus on building a strong understanding of the topics rather than simply memorising methods, using clear explanations, worked examples and plenty of practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems themselves, helping them become more confident and independent. Lessons are typically 1 hour long and are suitable for students of all abilities. I achieved A* in Maths, A in Further Maths and A in Physics at A-Level and am now studying Aerospace Engineering at university.
