About Amani
I enjoy helping young kids and people learning new ways go to tackle a math problem! I have struggled with math myself, and I was able to overcome the obstacles that were in my way. I'd love to help someone else overcome their issues with math!
I may not have a degree for teaching, but I've always done volunter tutor work in my neighborhood and worked with my siblings on their homework.
I have many siblings and I was their go to sister for help on their math work. I have taken AP level math and college level math in high school.

I will first test a student with a few equations to see where they are and the areas they could work on.
I have worked with quite a few types of students. Ones with adhd and other disorders.
Make sure the person they're looking to hire can handle the type of math their learning about. Math is changing every school year. Each year is new and harder to compute, but there is always room to learn!
I remember my little nephew coming home from school and telling me about the math work he was assigned. He was super scared because there were a lot of numbers and letters involved in the equation. I told him do not stress and that I can help him learn to work out each problem.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
For me personally, I don't mind answering any questions that pertain to the education of the student and the subject being discussed. All questions are welcomed.
