About Alex

-> I am an Information Technology graduate with Distinction in Melbourne with expertise in Mathematics and Information Technology subjects.
-> I have accomplished several achievements in my academics. I am a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society which is offered to top 15% of high-achieving university students.
-> I have a passion in mathematics and IT subjects. I have been tutoring students since my high school.
-> I was also a student mentor in university and have experience in providing help and guidance to new students in transition into their university studies.

About the lesson

-> I provide Mathematics and Information Technology tutoring to both students in Australia and overseas students.

-> I start with basic concepts as students seeking help would need to understand the concept from basics, then further lessons will be followed by in-depth and thorough practice in tutorials and worked examples to explain the detailed steps on how to solve the problems.

-> My teaching would include quick tests and examples of various difficulty levels to help students in understanding of the topics.

-> In addition, the level of lesson begins with student’s familiarity with the topics and develop a better understanding. This methodology has been successful for my students to achieve good scores.

-> For students who are already familiar with the topics, my lesson starts at a comparatively advanced level.

-> For students with no previous knowledge, my lesson would start from scratch to help students understand how to solve the questions. My lesson contains a lot of useful examples to help students visualise and understanding difficult concepts and topics better.

-> I will go through questions with my students to solve problems so that they can achieve good results in exams and at school. I will guide students and cover each topic thoroughly.

-> I like to use pen-paper, videos and other forms of multimedia for better understanding and better interaction.

-> I would use and maintain a friendly and fun learning environment which encourage student for open questions and discussions.

-> I believe achievements require hard work, determination and confidence.
