About Bryce
I do a mutual learning type approach where I might demonstrate a similar problem, but then have you teach me on your own problem what to do and the necessary steps to take. This way we can both learn where you struggle at and how to best reinforce those areas. I've been a tutor for two years but in education for five years overall.
I enjoy being able to help people and make a difference in other's lives, whether that be better grades or getting a better grasp on the material that we're studying. My favorite moment is that "ah-ha!" when something finally clicks and you've really learned the material.
I got started a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, when I was in a community college I really enjoyed helping people to learn concepts and found I have a knack for it.
I studied for three years to be a math teacher, the reason why I didn't do that was because math wasn't my true passion/calling in life. Sure, I really enjoy it still but ever since I discovered programming I have fallen head over heels in love with it and all other things related to tech.

I will take a few minutes to just get to know you and try to understand what your learning style might be. From there I prefer diving right into the question(s) you have so that we don't run out of time, or in case more questions come up as we move along we have time to address them.
Middle school all the way to older than me.
Find someone who is willing to go the extra mile for you to make sure you truly understand the material. Sure it's great getting the one problem giving you issues done, but there will be a test on that eventually or you will find a use for the information and it's important that you have the ability to recall in that moment how to do the process.
I am fond of many things, but if I had to choose a recent event I would say when my daughter started talking more. It's been amazing to see her interact with her world in this way we all take advantage of.

Have I broken the question down into multiple and manageable chunks? Have I researched the problem I'm having to see if someone else had the same issue and was able to figure it out? Have I truly given this my best effort?
