About Melia
I believe that everyone learns differently and I take great pride in being able to meet my students where every that may be. I make it my priority to make sure that we are working together to reach your goals and that you are getting the most out of our sessions together. I will often ask for feedback on our sessions so we can continue to make our time together as efficient and meaningful as possible.
I love helping people reach their goals and become self-sufficient in their work so that they can feel both confident in themselves and their schoolwork.
I have earned both a master's in physician assistant studies and a master's in public health. Prior to graduate school, I recieved my bachelor's in biochemistry and molecular biology. Throughout college, I worked as a general chemistry tutor, teaching assistant for cell physiology, and as a mentor/tutor for school aged children.

Prior to our first official session I like to have a free virtual or phone conversation to get to know you a little bit. I want to hear about your prefered learning environment, what you think works, and maybe what does not work for you. I also want to hear about your interests and goals.
