About India
I have been studying psychology for three years! I attended Regent University for my B.S degree in Psychology. My studies have included but are not limited to , Introduction to Psychology, Child Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Multi-Cultural Psychology, and Psychology of Religion.
My experience with this field goes beyond what I have learned in the classroom. My understanding of the human mind, and behavior stems from personal experience dealing with family, peers, and outreach to at-need individuals in my community.
I enjoy learning about the functions of the brain and how it affects human behaviors in day to day living. I like to study the biological mechanisms that influence individuals to do the things that they do. For example, I am very keen to how the perception of light, color, and sounds can affect an individual's emotions.
I am fascinated with everything from the fundamentals to abstract concepts. From the quirky Freudian theories, to limitless social constructs, I enjoy learning, assessing, and applying new psychological concepts that will help me understand myself and others in a deeper way.
