About Isabel

BSc in biology with a minor in French. I have been tutoring high school math and science for 16 years. I specialize in math and biology; however, I am able to tutor physics, chemistry, and French as well. I am well-versed with the Caleigh and Euclid math competitions, and my clients range from students struggling to understand the basic concepts of math and science to the ones who are aiming for top marks/prepping for university.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are tailored to each individual student. I try and establish a profound understanding of the student's strengths and capabilities as well as learning style (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.). I enjoy the academic transition my students make toward competence and full potential in the subject areas previously challenging to them.

Perfect! Isabel is extremely personable and patient and she helps provide great explanation of content. She’s been lovely to work with and works hard to teach the material in a way that the teacher wants in order to help her students meet classroom expectations. She also responds quickly and has been very easy to schedule lessons with, even on short notice!
