About Meera
I'm a tutor with over 5 years' experience teaching Maths, Science and English to pupils aged 5 - 16, both in person and online. I've prepared pupils for 11+, Common Entrance and GCSEs as well as generally helping to improve performance across the subjects I teach. I focus on building strong foundational knowledge and use innovative methods and activities to boost confidence. I work with each individual pupil, and their parents, to understand their needs and set appropriate goals to work towards. Developing a love of learning is crucial for us to be able to take advantage of the opportunities around us and so this is something I impart to my pupils as much as possible. Having completed a medical degree and spent 2 years working in a fast-paced start-up I'm now taking the time to travel and teach online. I'm flexible in my scheduling and am happy to arrange a free trial lesson at your convenience.
