About Marlene
I am a Professional Jazz and Contemporary Jazz Vocalist. I have performed worldwide. I have been teaching voice (singing) for over 35 years; in Chicago, Los Angeles, and currently in Arizona. I have my Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. I taught Contemporary voice on faculty at Sherwood Conservatory of Music in Chicago. I have expertise and years of experience teaching Voice and Vocal Coaching my students in Contemporary Styles; such as Pop, Jazz, R&B, Alternative, Musical Theatre, etc.
I love what I do! Seeing the progress my students make gives me so much happiness. I love to help my students grow by nurturing their enjoyment of singing, building their vocal technique, and boosting their self-esteem.
