About Pauline

Art is everywhere you look. The best art inspiration is in nature, it is absolutely magnificent and magical.

It is my belief that everyone is creative, when we were children we made up games, stories we found hidden lands in a grove of trees or a secret cave in the bushes. We drew and painted without self judgement. When we grew older a lot of us forgot that we could be so creative and lost part of ourselves along the way.

I have been using art therapy in my work as a drug and alcohol counselor, holding art workshops for parents and children when mine were young, and have had a arts and crafts workshop business for the past three years.

I'm passionate about art, and just want to share that passion

for the past 25 years I have worked with children and adults in different places and situations. Some trauma victims, youth groups, woman's conferences, and most recently as a drug and alcohol counselor, I am naturally creative self taught artist,

About the lesson

Find out what they are interested in doing, medium preference if they have previous experience and if not I will discuss the different types of art and craft options we offer.

I see what their interest is and go from there as everyone is different

I have worked with all types of students and all ages, from one to 80.

Do not judge yourself, it is about enjoying the process, there is no such thing as a perfect painting and if you don't like how something looks, keep going I've created my best pieces from starts I did not like.

We hosted a home workshop for several adults, a little like a sip and paint, a woman brought her husband who had never painted he is a published writer, he was not interested in painting and came for the social interaction, the wine and food, he reluctantly agreed to try it, and has not stopped since.
