About Robin
Ive been an art teacher/ mentor/ designer for over 30 years. My experience spans many dimensions, and i work well with children. From designing puppets for Sesame Street and the Muppets, to being a costume designer for SNL, to designing soft goods for Kenner Toys, i am always eager to share my knowledge with others. I cater to kuds strengths, and encourage themvto see things in a different way.
i have always taught in one form or another- asca teen, i was always the art counselor at camp
i have a BFA from Pratt Institute

We will dicuss the projects we have in mind, and i will show an example and a range of possibile outcomes
I’ve worked with ages from 3-80- I’ve worked with special needs afults, and was very successful in giving them self- confidence and even selling their work- I’ve been teaching 6-12 year olds for over 20 years
keep an open mind. In art, things dont always have to be realistic- use your imagination!
i was involved in making a float for the Blink parade last October

be honest, we can only work with what we know- dont be agraid to try, sometimes, a mess up can turn into a masterpiece!
