About Suzanne
If you love stained glass, you will love this class. We start with a simple stained glass suncatcher in the first class, then move onto a small panel in the second class. You will learn how to cut, grind, solder, patina, frame and hang your pieces. I will teach you about the difference in glass and about the tools.

i have been in quite a few shows including the Strawberry Festival in Loxley,Al. The Christmas Festival in Bay Minette, The Port City Crafters in Mobile, Al. and one in Oriole Beach, FL.
i also display at Makers Loft in Pensacola and Perdido Artist Gallery and Gifts in Perdido, FL. I teach twice a month at Makers Loft in Pensacola.
As much as I love all the different colors and textures of the glass, my favorite part of the process is actually getting a piece finished and get it in the sunlight. The sun just makes a piece so much more beautiful!.
I started teaching at a "make and take" craft store called Makers Loft in Pensacola, FL. after retiring from my career. I still teach there twice a month but I really love teaching at home on a one to one basis. I think you learn more and do a better job that way.
I received lessons in Gatlinburg, TN and have been going strong ever since.

i work one on one with you so that I can watch, help and instruct so that you get the most out of your class. You will go home with at least one finished project. You will choose between several patterns and glass to start.
I have worked with some children but typically I do not like to take anyone under 16 years old. People with arthritis in the hand or anyone who takes blood thinners (Coumadin, etc.) should be especially careful in this class. Chances of getting nixed or slightly cut by glass is strong.
