About Gabe

You will find plenty of painters to teach you how to paint a landscape, a figure, a still life, or even abstract styles. What I am offering is the more creative side of exploring our imaginations, and how to bring those ideas to life on canvas. I use both modern technology to help gather references, create layouts, color schemes, and explain multiple tested techniques showing you how to get all of that onto a canvas the way you want it. From there it will be onto some traditional painting techniques to help you build up your concept through multiple layers. Mistakes are all part of the process, so I will teach you how to work through mistakes and help you realize that it is all just stepping stones to reach your final vision. Art is fun, but it is also difficult. I will help you navigate through that by sharing my experiences of almost 20 years of painting.

Painting is really just a part of me. I know that sounds hokey, but it is true. Some of us are just drawn to it. When you get enveloped in your art it is a state of meditation and personal growth. The highs and the lows accumulating until the very end when you feel the excitement of the final layer of paint. I also love the feeling of showing my artwork, meeting patrons, and other artists. Art is a beautiful aspect of life that I love to share with others. Give me a call and we will talk.
