About Lisa

Lisa is an Abstract Acrylic and Mixed Media Artist who has found her calling painting on both paper and canvas. Experimental lines, colors, and textures reveal her vivid imagination and abundant creativity. Her work is ever evolving and constantly in flux as she is a self taught artist and works from a home studio.

Lisa began her creative journey immersed in the scrapbooking world then transitioned to art journaling and rubber stamping- teaching classes and making creative friends all over the USA and beyond. She picked up a paint brush and put it to canvas in 2011 and has not looked back. She finds clarity and peace in the chaos of abstract art and often listens to a wide variety of music or her favorite podcast while painting. Her pieces are generally layer after layer of magic. The process of adding and subtracting clears her mind when she paints, As Lisa’s art practice has evolved so has her determination and enthusiasm!

Lisa’s schedule includes working with other artists one on one via Zoom and helping them over the hurdles and frustrations of their growth. Lisa teaches workshops in person and partners with other artists in the workshop and facilitator role.

It's relaxing, and exercises my creative mind! It's my passion to not only create art but to share my lessons with others that want to do the same !

I began teaching mixed media scrapbooking and rubber stamping classes as far back as 2001! Since 2018 I have taught workshops one on one, via zoom and also group workshops. I have taught locally and have traveled to other locations to teach!

10+ years of teaching in mixed media and abstract acrylic painting.

About the lesson

Please do your homework by visiting the teachers links and website! Find out how they represent themselves! Gather information to make an informed choice!

I attended an art residency recently to focus on my own artwork and paint much larger than I ever have before in a very large studio space. It was a game changer for me!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The more you can explain to your teacher what you'd like to get from the lesson the better!
