About Renita
Finding out how the student learns. Show them various styles and help them decide what they would like to work within.
Helping someone to learn how to get into the zone. Working to show them things they haven’t been seeing because seeing everything differently is a constant joy. Learning to draw what you see not what you know. And how to mix colors of the same value to harmonize whether they are really there or not. In composition how to site your area of interest and deal with negative spaces
I have taken classes and workshops over the years as well as painting alongside other artists and sharing techniques. Also books and cds.

Finding out what they know and what interests them the most in their art. Getting them to begin to see negative spaces and colors they might have missed before. It would be great to take walks but with covid we would have to study photos and intensify with Adobe. Getting them to learn how to judge value And composition. What to leave out and what to change even in realistic work
