About Paulette

I am very passionate about being an artist so much so that I want to teach others to go for their passion. I am self taught and professionally trained. Use different mediums but love watercolor the most. Have been drawing & painting since 2002. Have given free art lessons to neighborhood children, in classes at church and private students at my home. My method of teaching is to allow the student first show me what they are interested in then begin to structure and build from there. Have an Associates Degree in graphic design. In September 2015, had my first art show at a major hotel in Irving ,Tx. It was,a very successful project. My be oming an artist was unlocked in 2002-while driving cross-country as an 18 wheel tru ck driver. Seeing America in all its beauty inspired me to want to paint. I started painting while still driving the truck. While I no longer drive trucks I have pursued my love of art by attending classes and practicing, practicing and more practicing.
