About Shelley
I am an Art Advocate. A teacher, that loves to share the inner peace that creating art gives me. My background as a School Art Teacher, An After School art director, a Paint and Sip Instructor, and a Chewy Artist, has helped me create a mobile program that allows participants to create artwork that is purposeful as well as unique. Classes are customized to suit your needs, but are generally designed to fit within a one hour time frame, allowing for practical, affordable and FUN solutions to gatherings of all ages and sizes.
My passion for painting was rekindled with the beginning of The Box Turtle Sanctuary of Central VA, where all procedes help build habitat and educate residents on the plight of the disapearing Eastern Box Turtle. One of the most beautiful turtles in the world.
Along with regular Paint your Pet events, I currently paint with residents in retirement homes around the Richmond VA area and teach Kindergarten Art at Goddard Academy.
