About Selena

As a coach and lifelong learner of fitness, I often reflect on my ‘why’ – and from day one of my own training journey, the answer has remained the same… Fitness has both saved my life and given it meaning. I have found purpose in movement, and it is the best way I know how to teach and care for people. I became a personal trainer because I am truly passionate about the power of fitness in helping others discover and become the best version of themselves. It is an honor and a privilege to guide someone’s journey to health; I am grateful for every opportunity to impart my knowledge and enthusiasm to all who set foot in the gym.

About the lesson

My ultimate goal as a coach is to help clients feel comfortable, competent, and confident – not just in the gym, but in life. I consistently emphasize [proper] form, function, and building strength. You can’t scale Everest without first learning how to climb. My focus during sessions is on creating a solid foundation of skills and body awareness, allowing individuals to safely progress while learning to embrace what their bodies (and minds) are capable of expressing. No fancy tricks or gimmicks – my style is simple, honest, challenging, and tailored to each client’s specific needs and capabilities. (Oh, and don’t be surprised if I bust out some spontaneous dance moves to keep you entertained during sessions)
