During my first year at The Manchester College, Rachel was always the tutor you could go to about anything, it didn't matter what the problem was she was always there to help the best way she could. During lessons when it came to Photography work she would always give excellent feedback to my work letting me know how I can improve it every single time, this feedback and support has now helped me become a Photography for a high end merchandising company. She taught me in my Creative Media Production Level 2 course and gave me the knowledge and skills to help me during the Level 3 course, thanks to her teaching I never forgot the methods she taught me and the skills in Photography which helped me help others in the class, I ended up teaching other students what she taught me in my first year.

I would recommend Rachel because she is easy to talk to, an amazing listener and never gives up on her students, thanks to her I have the job I have today.

She helped me, not only to succeed in my course, but to also feel comfortable, happy and safe inside college. As someone who doesn't usually feel comfortable around people or even in an academic environment, I feel that she gave me a new outlook on education, and made me feel at home. Rachel is an exceptional tutor, mentor and friend to all whom she teaches, as well as a friendly and co-operative co worker, and would be an amazing addition to any establishment.

She goes out of her way, in her spare time to help students even if she isn't at College teaching, she makes sure that the work you do is at its best.

Rachel taught me Media after I left high school and has been a friend to me as much as a teacher.

Rachel was my main tutor for my 2 years at college studying Creative Media Production (Film & TV). Not only were her classes enjoyable but I still keep my notes from them today as they genuinely come in handy from time to time when running my video/photo production "Dib Dab Digital".

She obviously cares a lot about her students and does everything in her power to make sure they succeed while taking into consideration their personal circumstances. There were times where other tutors came off a bit robotic in their approach but Rachel was 100% human.

Plus when I won the award for my subject area, I decided to use one of my guest tickets to the ceremony to invite Rachel, along with my boyfriend, and we had a fun evening so don't worry if you've got a lot of work to get through; you won't be bored!

I was a student of Rachel's during my two years at college, I can say that without Rachel I wouldn't have been able to achieve near to what my grades were. Rachel offered me the support and approachability that is vital for me in a tutor. Me and Rachel were also very good friends in the classroom as she created a fantastic student, teacher environment. I felt confident in sending Rachel my work knowing I would receive vital feedback which would ultimately improve my grade and quality of my work.
