About Wesley
Hello, and thank you for your interest. I specialize in tutoring related to history, civics, international relations, political science, and philosophy. My goal is to help students understand the function and evolution of society over time, and examine the narrative of history.
I hold Bachelors Degrees in History and in International Relations & Political Science and a Masters Degree in History. I’ve served as a research fellow at the George C. Marshall library, and I’ve published several times in the Journal for Undergraduate Research.

I help students fulfill their individual academic needs by identifying what areas of improvement they have and establishing a customized lesson plan with a series of learning goals. For students with event-based needs such as Advanced Placement (AP) exams or entrance exams I also work to develop rhetorical and dialectical skills, essay writing, and time management.

$50/hour for 1 hour tutoring sessions
$80/2 hours for 2 hour sessions
$75/hour for AP exam prep in Comparative Government & Politics, European History, US Government & Politics, US History, and World History.
**Based on availability, I can provide larger, intensive block sessions for students with limited schedules or compressed timelines**
