About Tom
I am a conceptual fine art landscape photographer. I have taught at multiple universities in the lower 48 and have recently moved to Alaska to teach art in the Anchorage School District. I have a passion for photography and love helping my students solve their problems.

I love talking about photography and how it helps us understand our world!
I started teaching my peers in journalism which led to my going to grad school to get my MFA. I fell in love with teaching photography during this time. And upon graduation, I have been teaching ever since.
I hold a Masters of Fine Arts in Photography, am a Phase One Certified Professional, and have 20 years of hands-on experience in the field of photography.
