About Ann
Photography has been my passion since I was in elementary school many, many years ago. I have especially enjoyed nature and landscape photography and love to combine my photography and my writing. I am currently a retired teacher, having taught not only photography, but also English and journalism at the high school level. When I was teaching my students achieved a special award creating a photography project for the local Litter Control Council. My website for my own photography is (concealed information) You can also find Shenandoah Glimpses on Facebook.

I like to assess the work the student has done so far and then sit down and discuss goals to develop an individual plan. I use some basic Power Point lessons to introduce major areas that relate to the student's goals and we then plan field trips to try it out.
My experience has been with high school level students, but I am open to teaching younger students or adults.
