About Carlos
I've gathered a lot of experiences and I continue to stay in tune with the current state of digital photography. This knowledge is useful and I'm happy to share it with others wanting to learn.
I have 10+ years of experience as a working professional, attendance of several workshops , and self-guided learning that arms me with the knowledge of the contemporary state of the art.

I first like to identify what level of knowledge the student has, and then define what the students goals and aspirations are in the realm of photography.
Then we'll outline a system of review and exercises that will facilitate the mastery of basic and advanced skill.
I'm new to teaching.
The student should evaluate whether that teacher demonstrates the skills you're most interested in mastering. You should get an idea whether the teacher has a grasp of basics - can they take a what you believe is a nice photo? Is it sharp, can they teach you how to use your camera in low lighting? But also, have they demonstrated an understanding of off camera lighting and possibly studio work? That all should be considered. A competent teacher will have a good grasp of many skills and ideas needed to be studied in many of the domains of photography that you may be interested in.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What kind of photography do I want to pursue right now?
What kind of photography have I admired and would like to try?
Am I able to follow through with suggestions of purchases that will markedly improve my knowledge and/or photography?
