About Tristine

Personalized lessons for each student.

I love photography and sharing my passion for the arts.

I started teaching in 2010.

I have taught classes at the Chicago Photography Academy and at the Hairpin Arts Center. My passion for photography has fueled my creative journey for over 20 years and I am excited to help others begin their photo journey.

About the lesson

First we will pin point your existing knowledge level. We will then build out a personalized lesson plan. Depending on how often meetings will occur the lessons content will vary.

I have worked with students of all ages from 14 to 70.

Make sure you like the person. Also, don't be afraid ask about their education and photographic passions. The stronger the passion the better the teacher.

In Chicago, the arts Center I collaborate with they hold monthly art shows with local artist. I think it is so important and monumental for this non-profit to hold these shows.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What kind of photography do you want to make. How much time they want to invest in learning the art.
