About Paul

I'm passionate about the combination of technology and art that makes photography so compelling.

Whether it's a commercial assignment shooting a product, or a trek through the woods shooting wildlife, technology and art have to come together in an inspired way to capture an unforgettable image.

Over the past decade I've been fortunate to be able to build a career and enjoy free time adventures with my camera, and would love to help you do the same.

I have always enjoyed learning and sharing the skills and insights that make images commercially valuable and artistically unforgettable.

I have over 25 years of experience behind the camera as an art director and photographer for commercial work and product photography.

I have even more experience and time invested in fine art and wildlife photography.

About the lesson

1. Phone conversation to discuss student's goals, interests, and experience.

2. Written plan to satisfy the student's needs, with a suggested schedule, anticipated outcomes, and costs.

3. Phone or email discussion to finalize a plan and schedule a meeting.

Typical students have DSLRs, but need information on the fundamentals of photography. Others are looking for more sophisticated techniques to take their results to the next level.

I advise students to realize their success depends upon their willingness to combine technical skill with artistic inspiration.
