I love telling stories. (I love hearing them as well) Photography is a great way to tell someones story. My favorite part of my job is when I know I am capturing something that is really important to someone. As artists we are all hoping that our work is cherished. I also love the technical side of photography. There are so many different things that factor into a great photograph (composition, posing, lighting, camera settings, etc..) and I really enjoy putting that puzzle together.

I have taught a number of workshops around Arizona to professional wedding photographers.

15 years of experience working in Events, Commercial, and Editorial photography.

About the lesson

Establishing their strengths and weaknesses. I prefer to start by diving into the things they are doing right and then transition into how they can improve on the areas that may need it.

I have worked with everyone ranging from new photographers that are looking to improve their skills for personal experiences all the way to seasoned professionals that are looking to get an extra edge on their style.

I taught a workshop a few years ago. One of the students was brand new to photography. I saw that photographer 3 years later at a bridal expo and she was preparing to leave her day job to pursue wedding photography full time.
