About Bonnie

I am a proffessional photographer at the top of my field. I have done over 100 magazine covers, plus centerfolds, article leads books, product packaging and more.

I taught photography at Santa Monica College for 30 years, as well as two other colleges in Los Angeles for shorter assignments.

I am patient, explain things very clearly with the reasons why. With everyone having some sort of camera I would like to help people learn how to shoot excellent images they can enjoy for years.

I also teach Photoshop and have been using it for about 25 years, since Photoshop 3.

I want to share my skills, knowledge and experience with others so they too can enjoy and be proud of their accomplishments.

I have always loved the idea of teaching while working and the college offered me a job part time so I could still shoot.. it lasted 30 years until I left the state.

Professional photographer at the top of my field. Taught photography at Santa Monica College for 30 years, Valley College and West LA College for shorter assignments. Worked as first assistant for 3 very well known and highly skilled photographers in Hollywood,

About the lesson

I first learn about what the student would like to learn and what they are going to use their new skills for which helps narrow the field of what I will share with the student as some information will not be pertinent to their field of interest.

Not sure how to answer this. College age and older mostly.

Experience, knowledge, achievment, ability to understand the point of view of the student and help the student to get the image they have in mind.
